The Festival of Running is proud of the impact it has on the people and city of Coventry. From improving the health and wellbeing of its residents, to the hundreds of thousands of pounds raised for local charities, and the community that comes together to support the event.
We want to recognise the businesses and their staff that support the event with our Wellbeing Partners scheme.
Our Wellbeing Partners are businesses and institutions that have shown a commitment to the health and wellbeing of their staff, to raising money for charitable causes, and to supporting sport and exercise in the local community. Having a staff team in the Festival of Running is a great opportunity to develop and encourage teambuilding, to raise funds for a shared charity or cause, and a chance for some friendly competition between you and your neighbours!
If you have at least one member of staff running, congratulations! You’re part of our Wellbeing family. If you have five or more staff members taking part you’re eligible to be a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Wellbeing Partner:
Bronze: 5+ entrants
Silver: 10+ entrants
Gold: 20+ entrants
Partners receive a physical certificate, digital accreditation that can be displayed online, social media assets, and a listing on the official Festival of Running website as a Wellbeing Partner. Gold partners will also be highlighted on social media.
Your staff can enter individually or you can buy places for them in bulk and staff can take part in either event to qualify you as a partner.
Contact email@example.com for more information or to confirm your status.
Wellbeing Partner FAQ
Do my staff need to have all entered at the same time?
No, they can have entered independently, let us know all your team entrants and we can verify your wellbeing status.
Can we buy places on behalf of our staff?
Yes, you can buy places in bulk to both the Half Marathon and the 5k. We’ll provide you with a unique code for your staff to redeem their places. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange.
We only employ a handful of staff, how do we qualify?
You only need one employee running to be part of the Wellbeing Family! If you are a small business let us know when you get in touch.
Do we have to run for one of the five partner charities?
Your staff are free to run for any charity they or you choose. Our five partner charities do fantastic work and would make great choices, but we’re equally proud that our runners raise money for more than 50 worthy causes.
What does it mean to be a Wellbeing partner?
Our Wellbeing partners are businesses and institutions that have shown a commitment to the health and wellbeing of their staff, to raising money for charitable causes, and to community events.
All our Wellbeing Partners will receive a physical certificate as well as a digital accreditation they can display line.
You will also be listed on the official Festival of Running website as a Wellbeing partner for the event.
Can I challenge other local businesses? OR have an inter-department competition?
Of course! We welcome a bit of friendly rivalry :) (as long as there’s good emphasis on participation and wellbeing too!)
We also have a trophies for our business team entries including fastest team (average time of entrants), most funds raised (total and per head), and best fancy dress.
