Last year, Carl did a show called ’Shall We All Just Kill Ourselves?' about how hopeless the future feels. It was described as “a masterfully executed piece of comedy… impressive triumph… hilarious… ” (Shortcom). In what could be the most ironic follow up show of all time, he is now due to become a father so is drastically rethinking his previous opinions and trying to work out how to prepare to bring a child into such a world. If you would like to watch a multi-award winning comedian (who has appeared on various television and radio shows) panic for an hour about his decision to procreate then this is the show for you.
Carl has appeared on such shows as ‘Mock The Week’, ‘Russell Howard’s Stand-Up Central’ and regularly appears on radio as well as being one third of the ‘Babysitting Trevor’ podcast crew and one half of the ‘Two Vegan Idiots’.
“Observational genius” The Guardian
“Spirituality doesn’t have to be a drag – and Donnelly is living proof... connecting effortlessly with his audience… a beautifully balanced performance… reminds us that even though things are looking a bit rough, we all have the power to make the world a better place.” The Scotsman
