Coventry's First Ever Steampunk Carnival arrives in Millennium Place this weekend!

This weekend Coventry holds host to it's first ever Steampunk Carnival!

The carnival kicks off with a Cabaret Show on Friday night at The Herbert Art Gallery and Museum. 

Friday's cabaret show features

Greg Chapman, juggler and escapologist; 

Rivers & Kidd, the musical duo who put the punk into Steampunk; 

Lux Delioux, the multi talented Burlesque and Cabaret artist; 

Live band Kiss Like Ether,

and The Retro Clones, performing classic songs in an amazing retro style.

Festivities continue from 10am on Saturday at Millenium Place with FREE live outdoor performances from a selection of Friday's cabaret performers, 

alongside Ichabod Steam and his Animatronic Backing Band!

While inside Coventry Transport Museum you can browse Coventry's first ever Steampunk Market and shop to your heart's content!

Saturday evening finishes with a Steampunk Concert at The Herbert Art Gallery with 

Steampunk comedian and raconteur, The Ineffable Lady M;

Victor & The Bully, a carnival style ukele and guitar playing duo;

Greg Chapman,

Pansy Cheung, Steampunk Burlesque Artist and

The Filthy Spectacula, the only steampunk, ska, punk, pirate band in the UK!

But don't stay up too late, as there is more live entertainment at Millenium Place on Sunday for day two of the carnival with more live entertainment in Millenium Place through till 4pm!
