Easter Holidays: Sensational Sculptures

Saturday 4 April – Saturday 25 April (excluding Sundays)

Daily activities:

Saturday 4 | Monday 6 | Tuesday 7: Foil People - Using tin foil and pipe cleaners, create bendy figures inspired by the Coventry Sculpture by artist Peter Lazlo Peri.

Wednesday 8 | Thursday 9: Clay Heads - Join in with one of our favourite activities using air drying clay to craft a miniature bust inspired by works in our Sculpture Gallery.

Friday 10 | Saturday 11: Stacking Sculpture - Using recycled cardboard come and build, stack and glue these sturdy constructions. Finish them off with paint sticks to add your own unique style to them.

Monday 13 | Tuesday 14: Building with Bottles - Give plastic bottles a new lease of life as we turn them into imaginative and inspiring works of art.

Wednesday 15 | Thursday 16: Reimagined Tubes - Create soaring towers, loop the loop art or spiralized structures out of cardboard tubes.

Friday 17 | Saturday 18: Egg Box Faces – Turn the ordinary into the extraordinary and construct abstract 3D portraits with egg boxes.

Monday 20 | Tuesday 21 : Dancing, Dangling Sculptures - Create hanging sculptures using bottle tops, beads and more for a truly decorative piece.

Wednesday 22 | Thursday 23: Rolled Newspaper Art - Rolled newspaper can be visually stunning and it is surprisingly strong. Take part in this session to craft coiled structures and mesmerising patterns.

Friday 24 | Saturday 25: Junk Modelling - Join us for a junk extravaganza. We will stock our craft tables with a whole variety of resources for you to choose from and create whatever your imagination leads to on the day.

Drop in | £2.50, under 2’s are free

Designed for age 3+, but all are welcome
